Contract and Affiliation Agreement Review 

Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, has many contracts and vendor/affiliation agreements with outside entities. Risk Management & Insurance reviews contracts in conjunction with the Office of the Senior Vice President and General Counsel, University Procurement Services, the Office of Research, and other departments/units to reduce exposure to risk and protect Rutgers’ assets.  

The “insurance,” “indemnification,” and “limit of liability”-related sections of contracts and business agreements are the most common areas requiring our review and approval. If you need assistance with these areas or need to initiate a review of university contracts or vendor agreements, please have your department representative contact Diane Yourcheck by phone (848-932-3007) or email.  

Affiliation Agreements 

All contact with Risk Management concerning affiliation agreements must come from the department representative on behalf of a student. For this reason, Risk Management politely requests that students refrain from contacting us directly regarding the agreements.
