Tuition and Fee Protection Plan (GradGuard)
Helping students get the most out of their Rutgers experience is the university’s top priority. Rutgers University has partnered with GradGuard to make the Tuition and Fee Protection Plan available to students and families. The plan helps students and their families overcome the financial losses that may result from events that force students to withdraw from the semester due to a covered medical reason, including illness, injury, and mental health conditions.
GradGuard Tuition and Fee Plans purchased prior to the first day of class can provide coverage for when an insured student completely withdraws from school for the covered term due to a medical illness. This coverage expands the scope of our refund policy by ensuring reimbursement for tuition, room and board, and other fees for covered withdrawals at any time during the semester. Plans also include Student Life Assistance: a 24-hour emergency hotline for students and parents.
Students can now enroll in GradGuard Tuition and Fee Plans in Nelnet QuickPay and Flywire! Please visit the links below for enrollment instructions. Tuition and Fee plans can be purchased via e-check and credit or debit card.
