    We recommend using the RU GL 088 Trial Balance with Account Number report for balance summaries and the Inquire on Detail Balances dashboard in the Oracle system to examine period activity.

  • This is often due to not changing the default currency setting in the Oracle application.

    To see results in the RU Saved Queries, the currency setting must be set to “Ledger Currency.” Follow these steps to fix this:

    1. After logging in to the financial management system, click the Tools
    2. Click the Reports and Analytics 
    3. Click the Catalog () icon.
    4. On the righthand side, use the dropdown arrow next to your name to select My Account.
    5. On the Preferences tab, select Ledger Currency using the dropdown arrow in the Currency field. Click OK.
    6. When all desktop settings have been completed, logout of the Financial Management System, close your browser, and log back in.

  • There is no difference between these terms since we use a single currency of USD for “Entered” and do not perform currency conversions for “Accounted.” The “Accounted” amounts should be used for analyses.
