Our employees are eligible for “occurrence-based” coverage for claims and lawsuits arising out of the course and scope of your Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) employment.

No. Your professional liability coverage at RBHS only covers you for acts within the scope of your employment at Rutgers. If you work for another facility, you will either need to purchase your own individual professional liability coverage or obtain coverage from the other facility.

No coverage tail is required for approved activities arising from your Rutgers employment, even if you cease to be a Rutgers employee.
