Healthcare Risk and Claims Management Offers Risk Education and Training
Healthcare Risk and Claims Management is now offering training for risk education to clinical Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) units through Med-IQ. Since February, the department has developed training tailored to clinical units’ medical specialties and needs, including both RBHS graduate schools, Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Medical School and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
Rutgers’ contract with Med-IQ will support a patient safety and clinical loss prevention learning program that will enhance patient safety, prevent medical errors and adverse outcomes, and reduce the frequency and severity of medical malpractice claims and litigation. The online education program is unique to RBHS and its providers.
Notably, the Med-IQ program offers continuing medical education (CME) credits to faculty and satisfies Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) curriculum requirements for residents while providing around-the-clock phone, email, and chat support for RBHS learners, as well as dedicated account management.
