List of Tableau Content Managers
A Tableau content manager is a representative from each of the University campus/units to help support the Tableau reporting environment, to serve the needs of the Tableau user community, and be a point of contact for Tableau related communication and processes. As a leader in analytics and report development, the Tableau content manager plays a vital role in managing the content within Tableau.
Some of the roles and responsibilities of the Tableau content manager include:
- Assists with maintaining university standards, monitoring report usage, and ensuring compliance of the University governance principles within the Tableau environment.
- Support the finance data/content, e.g., dashboards, reports, 3rd party data for your assigned campus/units.
- Manages user group access and permissions for Self-service.
- Acts as a Tableau data analytics and reporting contact to develop and publish content on behalf of the campus/unit.
- Communicates Finance Tableau system issues, processes, etc. to their specific campus/unit.
- Suggests reports that can be used for all of Rutgers Finance (Managed Reports).
