List of Tableau Content Managers

A Tableau content manager is a representative from each of the University campus/units to help maintain the Tableau reporting environment, to serve the needs of the Tableau user community. As a leader in analytics and report development, the Tableau content manager plays a vital role in managing the data/content within Tableau.

Some of the roles and responsibilities of the Tableau content manager include:

  • Assisting with maintaining university standards, monitoring report usage and ensuring compliance of the University governance principles within the Tableau environment
  • Managing finance data/content (dashboards, reports, views, 3rd party data, etc.) for the assigned campus/units
  • Managing user group access and permissions
  • Acts as a Tableau data analytics and reporting expert to develop and publish content on behalf of the campus/unit
  • Mentors other report developers/ data artisans
