FLT Profile: Maggie Quinn, Chief Procurement Officer
Maggie Quinn, Associate Vice President of Procurement and Chief Procurement Officer, officially joined the Finance Leadership Team (FLT) in April 2024 after assuming the interim position last September 2023. In her role, Maggie will shape the vision, mission, and strategy for University Procurement Services (UPS). She will oversee the university’s strategic procurement programs and ensure that UPS maintains exceptional customer service practices and efficient procure-to-pay systems to support the needs of the both internal and external partners. Here is a bit more information about Maggie.
Tell us about your first job?
I babysat the five (5) Foley “terrors” in my neighborhood.
Did you have a career fork in the road?
Yes, I am a proud graduate of Rutgers Law School, and I spent the first ten (10) years of my career as a litigation attorney. The fork in the road of course led me to procurement!
Is there a TV show you’re mid-binge on?
I’m currently watching “Peaky Blinders.” It’s a little dark for me but I’m sticking with it for Cillian Murphy who is an amazing actor.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Haagen Dazs Coffee Chip ice cream
What is your go-to food for fast fuel?
Chocolate

I have a blonde labradoodle named Harley Quinn, and yes, she takes after her namesake. I also have a cat named Bell who tries to keep Harley in line.
