This work stream responds to the RCM Five-Year Review Committee’s recommendations that relate to enhancing clarity, transparency, timing, and the mechanisms for input on the budget and the budget process.
Work in this area includes making improvements to the structure and operation of the university’s Budget Advisory Committees (BACs), aligning budget planning processes with the budget cycle and other institutional planning cycles, and considering ways to incorporate reviews and checkpoints, where necessary, into the budget cycle.
