Beginning on July 1, Rutgers staff and faculty will have access to our new system, Concur Travel & Expense, which will combine the existing online travel booking tool with Concur Expense. This will improve the management of expenses incurred using university travel and purchasing cards while also simplifying the reimbursement process for university-related purchases made using personal funds.
In the fall of 2016, we launched Cornerstone, a multi-year strategic initiative to transform the administrative and student information systems and processes for Rutgers University. Since then, we have taken numerous measures to lay the groundwork to modernize, unify, and simplify operations and technology for finance and accounting, human resources, payroll, procurement, expense management, travel, and student experience. This pivotal effort will guide our work to standardize practices, improve data analytics and reporting, align services and deliverables with the university community’s needs, and support collaboration across all campuses.
In a sea of 70,000-plus undergraduate and graduate enrollees, Rutgers University–New Brunswick students who require Student Accounting, Billing, and Cashier Services’ (Student ABC) assistance will get the individualized help that they need in a faster and more convenient fashion than ever before.
